What's the Job?

Design, develop, validate, and release fuel system components including fuel tanks, fuel delivery modules, and urea/DEF tank systems.

Lead APQP activities and support product validation efforts throughout the product development cycle.

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, testing labs, CAE engineers, and vehicle program teams to resolve technical issues.

Drive quality improvements, cost optimization, weight reduction initiatives, and production readiness activities.

Communicate technical project status and support compliance with engineering standards and release processes.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, or Component Engineer.
  • Experience working with fuel systems, including fuel tanks, fuel pumps, fuel delivery modules, or DEF/urea tank systems.
  • Understanding of APQP and product validation processes (DVP&R experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, supplier management experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel as required.

Supports Vehicle Program Teams, Validation Labs, Manufacturing Plants, Supplier Operations, and Quality Teams.

Part of the Fuel Systems Engineering Department.
