Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrates our core competencies: Action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, and ownership
- Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions
- General knowledge of all other shop processes
- Multi-task in a fast paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision
- Perform TPMs on equipment
- Perform visual inspections to examine for defects / damage
- Perform pressure testing operations
- Perform inspection with devices such as borescopes, micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches
- Repair parts as instructed using specified hand tools and mechanical devices
- Load/unload parts into chemical tanks and monitor/maintain tanks during cleaning/testing operations
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Communication Skills: Able to read and understand basic instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Math Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of applying common sense to follow written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and resolve routine problems involving multiple variables.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic skills in using personal computers and common software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
