FTA Sweeper Dayshift

About the Role

As a Sweeper at C&S, you will use an electric ride-on pallet jack to move pallets around the warehouse, ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors and maintaining load quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric riding pallet jack.
• Assist in unloading cross dock trailers.
• Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors.
• Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of the warehouse facility.
• Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality.
• Prioritize work within your assigned zone.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting up to 90% of the shift.
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, and carpet.
• Frequently lifting products weighing between 1–60 lbs. or more.
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead.
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box-cutting tools.
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height.
• Work environment may include dry goods storage areas (50°–90°F).

Requirements

• Attendance reliability.
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Demonstrated initiative, productivity, quality focus, safety awareness, and alignment with company values.

Pay

$17 per hour.

Schedule

1st Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6:30 AM–6:30 PM) and Wednesday (6:30 AM–Noon).
