Your daily impact
- Review routes in advance, ask clarifying questions as needed, and complete assigned work on time with attention to quality.
- Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational before starting work.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials according to disposal and safety procedures.
- Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
- Represent the Company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
- Respond effectively to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: High School or GED.
- Experience: 1 year DOT driving experience – waste & recycling services experience preferred.
- License: CDL-B & DOT Medical Card.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and successfully pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check, background check, and drug screening in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.

- Safety & Compliance Focus: Ability to follow safety procedures, conduct inspections, operate equipment responsibly, and comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements.
- Operational Execution & Reliability: Strong ability to plan routes, complete work efficiently and accurately, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain consistent, dependable attendance.
- Communication & Issue Reporting: Effectively communicate with supervisors and teammates, represent the Company professionally, and promptly report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting and walking/standing.
- Occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling.
- Limited stair climbing and crawling.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs at varying heights, including overhead.
Equipment & Tools
- Operation of specialized equipment (e.g., mechanical broom sweeper).
- Use of hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
- Required use of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility apparel, eye, ear, hand, foot, head, lung, and skin protection.
