Responsibilities

• Perform paying and receiving teller duties for retail and commercial businesses; knowledge of a Recycler is useful
• Receive and process multiple transactions with emphasis on accuracy
• Sell money orders and official checks
• Promote BancFirst services through cross-selling banking products to new and existing clientele; minimum goals and sales incentives apply
• Provide extraordinary customer service at all times
• Consistently execute policies and procedures
• Maintain teller cash limits, operate teller machines, and prepare teller work
• Balance teller cash and maintain acceptable balancing percentages as defined by management
• Maintain branch cash vault (if applicable)
• Handle knowledge of consignment items and their issuance
• Perform in a highly sensitive environment, deal with confidential matters, and meet deadlines
• Work well individually and with a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
• Exhibit outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Work well under stress and deadlines while managing multiple tasks
• Apply critical thinking skills and maintain an excellent work ethic
• Work various hours as assigned to meet business needs, including opening/closing the branch while maintaining security standards
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Ensure regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teller experience (a plus, but will train)
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Physical Requirements

• Constant use of computer screens
• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see, or hear
• Intermittently stand, stoop, bend at the waist, walk, kneel, or crouch
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods during the workday
• Long periods of typing and repetitive motion
• Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)

Schedule

Full Time: Monday through Friday, Saturdays as scheduled.
