FT Sanitation Associate - DC20

About the role

As a Sanitation Associate, it will be your job to maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center in order to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris, empty trash cans, and remove spills in a prompt manner
• Dust racks, doors, lights, etc.
• Sweep and mop slots
• Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops
• Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to help ensure the safety, proper sanitation and efficiency of the distribution center
• Maintain equipment daily, topping off fluids, cleaning out brushes and washing equipment
• Follow good sanitation practices; keep work area clean and free of debris
• Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes impacting work group or distribution center that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in the areas of accuracy, safety and productivity

Qualifications

• Able to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (i.e., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
• Able to work needed schedule to perform assigned duties
• High School Education (preferred)
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (will train associates)
• Familiarity/experience in a distribution environment (preferred)

• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
