FT Sanitation Associate - DC20

About the role

As a Sanitation Associate, you will maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris, empty trash cans, and remove spills promptly
• Dust racks, doors, lights, and other surfaces
• Sweep and mop slots
• Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops
• Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas
• Maintain equipment daily by topping off fluids, cleaning brushes, and washing equipment
• Follow good sanitation practices to keep the work area clean and free of debris
• Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in accuracy, safety, and productivity

Requirements

• Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (e.g., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks)
• Able to work the needed schedule to perform assigned duties

Preferred Requirements

• High school education
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (training provided)
• Familiarity or experience in a distribution environment

• Able to meet production standards set by the company
• Able to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
