FT Sanitation Associate - DC10

About the role

As a Sanitation Associate, you will maintain all sanitation standards established by the Distribution Center to ensure a clean and safe work environment for all associates.

Responsibilities

• Pick up debris, empty trash cans, and remove spills promptly.
• Dust racks, doors, lights, and other surfaces.
• Sweep and mop slots.
• Clean sanitation equipment, including sanitation boxes and mops.
• Sweep and scrub floors, as well as outside areas to ensure safety, proper sanitation, and efficiency.
• Maintain equipment daily by topping off fluids, cleaning brushes, and washing equipment.
• Follow good sanitation practices and keep the work area clean and free of debris.
• Report equipment and pallet jack problems to maintenance.
• Make recommendations for modifications to procedures or processes that will maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with ADUSA Distribution standards in accuracy, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. of equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (e.g., cool temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
• Ability to work the needed schedule to perform assigned duties.
• High School Education (preferred).
• Certification on powered industrial equipment where applicable (training provided).
• Familiarity or experience in a distribution environment (preferred).
