About the role

The University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks an FT Open Rank Faculty in the School of Dentistry to join the Care Planning & Restorative Sciences department. Located in Jackson, MS, UMMC is dedicated to improving health outcomes for Mississippi residents through education, research, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of restorative dental care plans for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient-centered care.
• Engage in research related to restorative dentistry.
• Teach and mentor students in the School of Dentistry.

Requirements

• PhD in Dental Science or equivalent doctoral degree.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in restorative dentistry.
• Current licensure to practice dentistry in Mississippi.
• Experience teaching and mentoring dental students.
