About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate community. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a schedule of 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, supporting up to 98 residents in our Main Apartment Building.
Pay
- Base pay starts at $27.00/hour for LPNs with less than 1 year of experience; determined based on years licensed and experience.
- Every weekend differential: additional $5.00/hour.
Responsibilities
- Establish respectful, warm relationships with residents and perform rounds.
- Admission of residents and development/update of resident pre-screen, assessment, and support plans.
- Communicate with physicians and resident families as necessary.
- Supervise and coach staff.
- Assist with residents' activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration as needed.
- Participate in weekly Personal Care Home (PCH) Supervisory meetings.
- Assist with emergency response campus-wide as needed.
- Attend all required staff meetings and complete monthly education on Relias by due dates.
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, federal, state, and local regulations, and OSHA safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Minimum of three years of experience as an LPN.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in developing support plans for elders.
- Familiarity with Personal Care Home Regulations.
- Hands-on experience in ADL assistance.
- CPR/AED certified or able to be certified.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Able to perform the essential job functions of the position.
