FT Laundry Aide

About the Role

As a Full-Time Laundry Aide at RegalCare at Lowell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients and residents. You will maintain a clean and organized laundry environment, ensuring the proper care and handling of patient/resident clothing and linens while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will help us maintain the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our patients and residents deserve.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and iron patient/resident clothing and linens according to established procedures
• Ensure all laundry equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
• Sort and categorize laundry in a timely and efficient manner
• Restock inventory of clean linens and uniforms as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

• No minimum years of experience required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
