FT Hairstylist/ Barber

Full or part-time hair stylist position in a high-volume salon with flexible hours and an established customer base. We are the largest Great Clips franchisee in the country, offering a competitive "effective wage" (base wage + productivity + product commissions + tips). Last week, the average effective wage was $32.46/hr, with no staff member earning less than $24/hr in total. Select salons offer a $300 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on stylistic options for their hair
• Listen to clients' needs to determine their preferences
• Describe different hair care products and their benefits
• Shampoo, cut, and style hair

Requirements

• Valid barber or cosmetology license
• Proficiency with hot irons, curlers, and blow-dryers
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Creative mindset and a good eye for design

Compensation includes base pay, product commissions, productivity bonuses, and tips.
