FT Food Service Coordinator /Cook

About the role

Columbia Cottage in Wyomissing, PA is looking to hire a Food Service Coordinator /Cook to prepare meals for our assisted living community. Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for 40‑50 residents each shift
• Carefully prep food, follow recipes, and assemble dishes in a pleasing manner
• Serve meals and interact with residents, seeing their pleased smiles
• Clean the kitchen after service, leaving it spotless and orderly for the next meal
• Ensure high quality of life for residents through wholesome, delicious food

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Previous cooking experience for large groups

Skills

• Reliable and dedicated

• Ability to self‑initiate tasks
• Works well under limited supervision
• Self‑motivated

Pay

Competitive wage starting at $17/hour, depending on experience and education.
