FT Electrician (Florence, SC)

About the role

MUSC/Florence, SC seeks a Full-Time Licensed Electrician to join their skilled team. The position involves coordinating and performing electrical services, maintaining emergency generator documentation, scheduling and conducting monthly fire drills, and ensuring a safe and high-quality patient care environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform all electrical services and equipment maintenance in the facility.
• Maintain and request necessary parts and materials for repairs and projects.
• Test and maintain all emergency generator documentation.
• Assign and ensure completion of monthly Preventive Maintenance tasks.
• Schedule and conduct monthly fire drills in compliance with TJC and DHEC standards.
• Perform duties to maintain a safe and high-quality environment for patient care.
• Support operations at Florence, SC, Marion, SC, and BlackRiver/Cades, SC facilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Within 6 months of hire, applicable licensure must be obtained.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Pay
