FT Driver Tractor Trailer (4X10) - 6952

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL vehicle safely and competently while adhering to all FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Drive assigned tractor trailer to scheduled stores to deliver product from the PDC.
• Ensure the load, delivery, and security of each load, including seals and locks, delivery of mail and bills, obtaining necessary signatures, assisting store personnel in unloading product, securing cargo, and ensuring correct temperature of load.
• Pick up assigned backhaul loads from stores and other vendors.
• Fuel tractors and trailers and maintain all equipment in good, clean condition.
• Wash equipment as required.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on commercial motor vehicles.
• Load recycled items and pallets in trailer.
• Work holidays, nights, weekends, and be available for mandatory workdays on normally scheduled off days.
• Possess and maintain a permanent Class A CDL.
• Understand and comply with state and local municipal traffic regulations and FMCSA requirements.
• Withstand road shocks and bumps.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with a Class A CDL.
