FT 1st Class Mechanic Shift 2 - 972

Responsibilities

• Repairs and performs maintenance tasks on battery powered pallet jacks, forklifts and narrow aisle high lifts.
• Repair building hardware and interiors.
• Install and repair rack systems.
• Learn basic and safe operations of facility systems such as sprinkler system, fire alarms, building automation and ammonia refrigeration system.
• Identify and solve problems with building systems and equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform a wide range of activities including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and metal fabrication work.

Requirements

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
