About the role
Responsible for overseeing food safety and quality assurance within the organization. Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Train employees on food safety protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address food safety issues and improve processes
- Prepare and present reports on food safety performance and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety management
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and FDA/ISO guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 20%
