FRS Reverse Unit Supervisor

About the role

This position supervises reverse unit and downhole tool services, working with the reverse unit pumping and workover crew to perform field tasks associated with equipment and tool operations for downhole corrections on well sites. The role requires expert knowledge to identify and implement efficient corrective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the reverse unit and downhole operation from assessment to completion, including timely delivery of equipment and tools to the job site.
• Assess the condition of the well and identify corrective actions.
• Identify the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the services.
• Communicate effectively with the reverse unit and workover crew on standard operating procedures for downhole operations.
• Plan and communicate with the customer regarding operations, procedures, and equipment required for the job.
• Maintain accurate records and complete work tickets based on company and customer requirements.
• Support business development of downhole services with the sales organization, including outreach to current and potential customers.
• Follow Axis standard operating procedures and specialized training required by regulatory agencies and the company.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Fishing and Rental Services Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable MVR; Class A or B CDL is a plus.
• Minimum two (2) years of pump down, reverse unit operation experience in oilfield services, with working knowledge of workover rigs and downhole experience.
• Expert knowledge of duplex and triplex pumps, hydraulic power swivels, and downhole fishing tools, with the ability to perform maintenance safely and professionally.
• Working knowledge of computer equipment and Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel (e.g., writing tickets, compiling data).
• Effective communication skills with diverse personalities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially under pressure or in emergency situations.
• Mobility to access areas using ladders or other devices.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, squat, crawl, and walk for long periods; may involve extended standing or sitting.
• Exposure to outdoor work and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand instructions and communicate directions.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations for job-related tasks.
• Clearance of company pre-employment drug/alcohol and job-relevant screens.
• Ability to travel over 50% of the time.

Schedule

This position works on rotation with varying days on and off, including daylight or night shifts that may change based on customer and location needs.
