Frontend React Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Frontend React Engineer with extensive experience in integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into web applications. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-powered React applications
• Integrate LLM APIs and build conversational interfaces
• Optimize prompts and improve AI user experience
• Collaborate with backend and AI teams to deliver scalable AI features

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
• Experience integrating LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) into web applications
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and prompt optimization
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling streaming AI responses
• Knowledge of state management (Redux/Context/Zustand)
• Understanding of AI chat interfaces, conversational UX, and LLM workflows
• Familiarity with Git and modern frontend development practices

Skills

• Good To Have: Next.js, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG, Vector Databases, MCP (Model Context Protocol)
