Frontend Engineering Manager, Global E-commerce Supply Chain and Logistics

About the role

TikTok is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for building and managing a team of engineers, providing technical leadership, and collaborating with business teams to enhance supply chain and logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a team of frontend or full stack engineers, including mentoring team members and providing technical support for engineers in the team.
• Provide technical leadership and build high performing teams within your organization.
• Regularly communicate with business teams and contribute to technical decisions on projects among the product.
• In-depth understanding of supply chain business and collaborate with team members to improve experience and performance of such systems and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major, 5 years of industry experience in a software development environment. Experience of managing or tech-leading a software engineering team. Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or any other equivalent library / framework. Experience in solving CSS/JS multi-browser compatibility problems and front-end performance optimization.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Technology, and/or warehousing. Experience in e-commerce and retail related fields. Experience in full stack development is a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $232,560 - $427,500 annually. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
