Backend Software Engineer - Global E-Commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics

About the role

TikTok's Supply Chain & Logistics team plays a crucial role in supporting the global e-commerce business, focusing on the selection, procurement, warehousing, and inventory management of goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient, highly scalable and secure services to build and integrate Supply Chain & Logistics systems for TikTok Shop E-commerce.
• Optimize backend systems and services for data security, modularity, computational efficiency, and scalability.
• Deliver best-in-class engineering excellence practices across all product engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline; 3 years experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Go/Python/C++.
• PREFERRED Qualifications: Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Delivery Technology, and/or Warehousing; Experience in E-Commerce and retail related fields; Experience in full stack development is a plus.
