About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior or Staff Frontend Engineer to join our web application engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set in web application development, with a passion for creating user-centric and high-performance UI platforms. This role involves developing new features, architecting scalable frontend solutions, and working closely with backend services to ensure seamless integration. The engineer will be instrumental in transforming complex requirements into intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces that enhance user experience and meet enterprise standards.

Responsibilities
- Develop new web applications and contribute to existing UI and middle-layer development
- Own and drive projects aligned with product development strategies
- Design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that delight users
- Contribute to the underlying platform ensuring it is scalable, secure, and extensible
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Backend Engineers, UX Designers, and customers
- Translate complex requirements into functional, high-performance UI solutions
- Implement best practices for integrating AI features into user interfaces
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure quality standards
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of production-ready application development experience
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong ability to read, understand, and improve complex enterprise-grade code
- Experience designing UI systems with scalability and extensibility in mind
- Excellent debugging skills, including root cause analysis and proactive bug prevention
- Proficiency integrating web APIs and micro-services with frontend applications
- Experience incorporating AI into user workflows
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git, GitHub workflows, and JIRA
- Experience building and maintaining high-traffic production systems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and take initiative in project development
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
