Frontend Engineer (Js, TypeScript)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Front-End Engineer to join our expanding team at Surefront. This role is ideal for a passionate and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React and Redux or equivalent front-end frameworks
• 1+ years in a leadership or senior engineering role
• Strong expertise in React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable front-end architectures
• Experience with code testing, review, and maintaining high-quality codebases
• Previous startup experience is a plus
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
• California permanent resident status

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to review and refine product requirements and specifications
• Lead the development of the React/Redux single-page application, ensuring performance and scalability
• Make architectural decisions regarding front-end design, libraries, and best practices
• Implement and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and suggest improvements based on industry trends
• Ensure the front-end codebase is thoroughly tested and maintainable
• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
• Cook up with other engineering team members to deliver seamless features
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry standards to ensure the application remains cutting-edge
