Frontend Engineer

About This Role

Zof AI is seeking a Frontend Engineer to own the console where engineers watch agent fleets work, review proposed fixes, and approve remediations. This role covers the full surface of our product interface: React and TypeScript in Next.js, real-time streaming views of agent runs, diff and evidence review flows, accessibility, and performance under heavy live data. If you have worked as a UI Engineer, React Developer, Web Developer, or Product Engineer, this is that discipline at Zof AI. The ideal candidate has shipped data-dense product interfaces, treats latency and accessibility as product requirements rather than cleanup work, and wants engineers to trust what the console shows them.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the Zof AI console in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Design real-time streaming interfaces that show agent fleets working live.
• Ship review flows where engineers inspect proposed fixes and approve remediations.
• Turn dense agent evidence into clear, readable interface states.
• Own accessibility and keyboard-driven workflows so long review sessions stay fast.
• Profile and improve frontend performance under heavy live data.
• Partner with design and backend engineers to take features from sketch to production.
• Maintain a component system that keeps the product consistent as it grows.

Requirements

• Experience building production web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Solid grasp of modern frontend fundamentals, including state, rendering, and browser behavior.
• Ability to translate designs into accurate, responsive interfaces.
• Working knowledge of accessibility and web performance practices.
• Comfort using AI coding tools as part of daily work.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
• Evidence of building high-quality technical work.

Nice to have

• Experience with server components, streaming rendering, or other modern React patterns.
• Experience with real-time data, streaming responses, or WebSockets.
• Experience building developer tools, dashboards, or other data-dense interfaces.
• Strong design sensibility or experience contributing to a design system.
