Frontend Engineer

About The Role

The role owns the architecture, development, and optimization of user-facing web applications, translating complex product requirements into high-performance web experiences. This position focuses on building highly responsive, accessible UI components and state management systems that interact with complex backend microservices. The engineer will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to drive frontend best practices, maintain code quality, and ensure seamless delivery of modern, scalable web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern state management libraries like Redux Toolkit or Zustand
• Build reusable, accessible, and responsive UI components based on design system guidelines, adhering to WCAG standards
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed, reducing Bundle size, Time to Interactive (TTI), and Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
• Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficient data fetching, caching, and state synchronization across the client application
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright
• Participate in technical design discussions, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior frontend engineers on modern patterns

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in frontend web application development
• Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern React (including hooks, context, and modern rendering patterns)
• Strong understanding of CSS preprocessors, CSS-in-JS (Styled Components, Emotion), or utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS
• Experience with frontend build tools, package managers, and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, npm, or Yarn
• Solid grasp of web performance optimization techniques, browser rendering pipelines, and cross-browser compatibility issues
• Bonus: Experience with Next.js/SSR architectures, CI/CD pipeline configuration, or monorepo tools like Turbo or Nx
