Frontend Engineer

About the role

You will own the architecture, development, and delivery of high-performance user interfaces and customer-facing web applications. Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will build responsive, accessible, and scalable frontend systems. The focus is on component design, state management, web performance optimization, and modern frontend tooling to ensure seamless user experiences across devices and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks
• Design and implement scalable component libraries and design systems for cross-team adoption
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility, adhering to WCAG standards
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define and consume robust REST and GraphQL APIs
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to frontend architectural standards

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on modern frontend engineering
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with advanced knowledge of React and its ecosystem
• Experience with state management libraries, build tools (Webpack, Vite), and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques, browser rendering, and responsive design
• BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
