Frontend Engineer
What happens when traditional finance meets real-time data intelligence and blockchain? You get Myron, a funded FinTech startup that is quietly rebuilding how businesses access capital. Today, companies sitting on millions in inventory or receivables wait weeks for financing, buried under manual audits, opaque intermediaries, and outdated processes. Myron replaces all of that with a platform that reaches directly into companies' operations (e.g. warehouses, services), continuously verifies assets’ existence and worth, and settles financing on-chain through smart contracts. Instantly, transparently, and without intermediaries. Nothing like this exists in the market today.
At our venture builder Santa Tech, we build companies like Myron from the ground up. Myron already has a live product, a growing team, real traction and is now in need of a talented Frontend Engineer to help us design and implement new features ready to be used by the finance industry. As a Frontend Engineer at Santa Tech, you’ll join a team of experienced engineers building the Myron Platform. You'll collaborate closely with Myron's founding team, which brings extensive executive experience from the finance industry, alongside Santa Tech's global engineering talent.
About the role
Your work starts before the code. You'll look at the underlying data and user intent, design the interface in Figma, gather feedback, iterate and only then implement. We don't want someone who reaches for a generic data table by default. We want someone who asks: "What is the user actually trying to understand here, and what's the best way to show it?"
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for the Myron platform, focusing on clarity and usability of complex financial data.
- Collaborate with the founding team and engineering talent to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces.
- Create designs in Figma, gather feedback, iterate, and then implement solutions.
- Transform complex data models into understandable and actionable UI.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with TypeScript and React.
- Experience with Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong technical foundation backed by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field.
- Ability to design first and code second, with a focus on UI/UX.
- Intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and improve your skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
You Will Be a Great Fit If You …
- Look at a complex data model and make it understandable through UI, not just displayable.
- Live and breathe clean UI/UX.
- Enjoy the back-and-forth of getting a design right before implementation.
You Will NOT Fit If You …
- Opt for a generic data table design by default.
- Are too lazy to write proper commit messages.
- Think storyboards are unnecessary.
Benefits
- Fair and competitive salary.
- Collaborative and intellectually stimulating work environment.
- Flexibility to work remotely with a globally distributed team.
- Free usage of all modern AI models and tooling.
- Regular in-person company meetings, all expenses covered (recently taken place in Cape Town and Dubai).
- Access to a co-working space or a stipend for home office setup.
