About The Role We're seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to develop the product experiences that our customers rely on daily to explore, visualize, and share their data within Omni. In this role, you will own significant features from initial design to final delivery, ensuring the interfaces are fast, polished, and user-friendly. Your work will include creating surfaces that enable customers to embed Omni seamlessly into their own applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and engineers across the stack—and engage directly with customers to understand their usage patterns and needs. This position offers high autonomy, allowing you to take ownership of substantial areas of the frontend with minimal oversight. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2+ years at a senior level, demonstrating the ability to ship production-quality software independently. You should possess strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects to customers. Experience working with data or business intelligence tools such as SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Google Analytics is highly desirable. You must demonstrate a bias toward action, making decisions and shipping features with limited oversight. Familiarity with AI coding tools and workflows, including Claude Code and Cursor, is a plus. Additionally, experience in building and maintaining APIs or SDKs that are consumed by external customers is essential. Candidates with startup experience, confidence in Java or Python, and background in developing SaaS applications in the cloud are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Own features across Omni's frontend end-to-end, including making technical decisions, implementation, and ensuring timely delivery.Collaborate directly with customers and the product team to define and scope integration requirements.Design and develop APIs, SDKs, and front-end interfaces that enable companies to embed Omni into their own products seamlessly.Adopt an iterative approach to shipping, incorporating customer feedback to refine features rapidly.Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code to maximize development velocity and focus on high-impact technical work.Work collaboratively with engineers across the stack, demonstrating independence and ownership without requiring daily oversight.Represent the needs of embedded customers in broader product and engineering planning discussions.
