About the role
This role owns the product experience. The UI is where users see what the AI is doing, how far along it is, and how much to trust it. You would be shaping the product's DNA on the extended founding team, not filling in screens.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UI workflows for human-agent collaboration: define what belongs in the interface, how users understand what is happening, and how they move forward when the system is unsure.
- Design and build performant, responsive experiences that feel fast and trustworthy, even when the underlying enterprise environment is complex and constrained.
- Architect critical user experiences across the full flow (not just components), partnering closely with the team building the platform underneath.
- Ship, measure, and iterate: turn real usage and feedback into concrete UI improvements, with a bias toward reliability over demos.
- Work directly with top enterprise customers to understand what works in production for their workflows, security expectations, and operational realities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend experience and have shipped production frontend using TypeScript and React, and you can point to the work you owned.
- Think in user workflows, not isolated screens: able to map a journey and design the UI to support it.
- Care about performance and responsiveness and can explain the tradeoffs you make to keep experiences snappy.
- Move through ambiguity: pick a direction, build the smallest useful thing, and tighten it as you learn.
- High standards for engineering quality, the kind that shows up in how you structure code, handle edge cases, and keep things maintainable.
Preferred qualifications
- Built UI for complex systems (admin tools, workflow-heavy products, or enterprise software) where correctness and clarity matter.
- Worked in environments with security or compliance constraints and understand how that affects product and engineering decisions.
Compensation and logistics
- $130K to $200K base plus equity, depending on experience
- Sunnyvale, CA, on-site (about 5 days a week, with reasonable flexibility)
- Full-time
