Responsibilities
- Ensure all Omni policies, procedures, and standards are met in Front Desk and Guest Services areas.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff.
- Be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in policies and procedures.
- Handle various guest scenarios with expertise.
- Operate and troubleshoot all technical equipment related to the Front Desk.
- Familiarize yourself with all hotel facilities and offerings.
- Understand the influence and importance of all departments on the Front Desk.
- Train new associates and ensure they meet performance standards.
- Follow and execute the shift checklist; run the desk in the absence of the Manager.
- Perform rooms control duties efficiently.
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of Opera Cloud, Synergy, Canary, and Key Card systems.
- Be familiar with all reservation special packages.
- Understand all radio codes and emergency procedures.
- Cover Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts as required.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Previous front desk experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Willingness to work overnight shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, or carry up to 50 lbs without assistance.
