Front Office Automation Tester

About the role

Design and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality and performance of trading and financial front office applications. Develop and maintain automated test cases for systems including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds. Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application stability and accuracy. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute automated test scripts for trading and financial front office applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases for trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
• Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure application stability and accuracy.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Requirements

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Understanding of trading workflows, financial instruments, and market data systems.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Agile development and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with Fixed Income and Derivative products such as SWAP, CAP Floors, Swaptions, Bonds, and Trading system automation for Sales and Trading workflows.
