About the role
As a Front Office Associate, you will perform front office clerical and clinical duties while contributing to TOI’s mission of accessible, compassionate cancer care. You’ll serve as a critical member of the care team, influencing how we deliver patient-centered service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients, collect co-pays and payments.
- Interview patients to gather health history and current medications (health screening).
- Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
- Promote TOI’s culture of exceptional customer service and behavioral standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all organizational information, including financial and client data.
- Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 1+ years of medical receptionist experience (preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
Schedule
- Full-time, 8-hour day shift.
- Monday to Friday.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $21.44 – $24.80 USD. The estimate reflects the typical wage range for candidates hired in this role, with actual salary determined by skills, experience, and comparison to existing employees.
