Front Office Assistant (2026-2027)
About the role
The Office Assistant is the first point of contact for parents and families entering a DSST school. They provide administrative support to the Office Manager and school administration, and manage a variety of daily tasks.
Responsibilities
- Primary coverage of the front desk, phones, and front door
- Greet and assist all visitors
- Answer phones and direct callers appropriately
- Absorb visitor sign-in policies
- Ensure daily attendance is taken accurately and promptly
- Make daily attendance phone calls to families
- Print, post, and email CP/Attendance/Refocus lists
- Send automated CP/Attendance/Refocus calls to parents/guardians
- Communicate with students, faculty, and staff
- Aid in proofreading and checking school communications
- Create school posters, flyers, and help update documents and website
- Care for minor student health concerns
- Administer medications and first aid under the guidance of the school nurse
- Generate student accident reports and log them under direct supervision
- Support office manager with student enrollment, planning, and events
- Support DPS services
- Perform other administrative functions and duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Spanish language proficiency required

Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $41,000 - $51,000 based on experience up to 10 years. Additionally, we provide a relocation stipend for those moving from 75 miles or more from Denver. Full-time, benefits-eligible, non-exempt, in-person position in Denver, CO. This is a fixed-term, one-year role starting in July.
