About the role
Front‑of‑house team member at Call Your Mother, a Jew‑ish deli known for its bagel sandwiches and hospitality. You’ll greet guests, brew coffee, take and deliver orders, keep the shop clean, and support teammates while embodying the company’s vibrant, integrity‑driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Offer guests a heaping helping of Call Your Mother hospitality
- Brew the best coffee in the whole wide world
- Ring in orders
- Deliver scrumptious food accurately and with flair
- Keep the shop looking sparkly clean
- Be the expert on all things Call Your Mother
- Lend a helping hand to teammates whenever needed
Requirements
- Outgoing personality; enjoys meeting new people and treating them like friends
- Values hospitality and sees work as a team sport without big egos
- Demonstrates integrity and takes pride in doing the right thing, even when unobserved
- Committed to remembering regular guests’ orders, names, or creating personal touches
- Morning person with weekend availability; prefers to keep evenings free
- Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform repetitive movements
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Able to safely operate equipment and tools using manual dexterity
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment around hot equipment, sharp tools, and varying temperatures
- Willing to work occasionally in confined spaces

Pay
Base hourly rate of $17.05/hour plus generous tips; with tips, total earnings are likely to range from $21‑23/hour.
Schedule
Morning shifts with evenings off; no night shifts required. Weekend availability is expected, allowing you to reserve evenings for personal time.
