Front of House Team Member

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Front of House Team Member who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community.

About the role

As a Front of House Team Member, you will work with a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection—from scratch-baked bread and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches—all made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a "can do" attitude, actively listen to guests, and confidently suggest meal and gift items to both first-time guests and returning regulars
• Work quickly, learn from mistakes, and proactively step in to help other departments

Requirements

• 1+ years of customer service or serving experience (preferred, not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handling and sanitation
• Flexible schedule: shifts vary weekly based on customer traffic and time of year, starting as early as 7 AM and ending as late as 10 PM, Monday through Saturday
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be at least 16 years old
