Front Line Leader DSC - 3rd Shift

About the role

Bell is shaping the future of aviation through programs such as the Future Long‑Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), the Bell 525 Relentless, and the High‑Speed Vertical Take‑Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program. This Front Line Leader position is located at Bell’s Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas, supporting the manufacturing of transmissions and gearboxes. The role operates on a 3rd‑shift schedule, with mandatory weekend overtime on a rotational basis (minimum one weekend per month).

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage, and direct daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union‑covered employees.
• Provide daily assignments and direction to direct reports.
• Conduct employee discipline when necessary, in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Drive metrics‑based accountability for performance, including TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
• Achieve production objectives in a matrix work environment and collaborate with Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, and other functions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or military experience.

Schedule

Full‑time, third‑shift position with a mandatory weekend overtime shift on a rotational basis (minimum one weekend per month). The schedule follows a 9/80 work pattern, providing every other Friday off.
