Front-End Web Developer (Angular)
About the role
We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer with strong expertise in Angular to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and enterprise systems. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and user-friendly single-page applications while collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive Angular-based web applications and single-page applications (SPAs).
- Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs and enterprise services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client-server integration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and reusable frontend components and frameworks.
- Collaborate with backend developers to define API contracts and ensure seamless data integration.
- Participate in application architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls within web applications.
- Create and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Support CI/CD processes, release management activities, and production deployments.
- Adhere to enterprise development standards, documentation requirements, change management processes, and peer review practices.
- Leverage feature flags and controlled deployment strategies to support safe production releases.
- Troubleshoot application performance, functionality, and user experience issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend application development.
- Extensive experience developing and supporting Angular single-page applications.
- Strong experience integrating frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
- Deep understanding of:
- RESTful services and API consumption
- API versioning strategies
- OpenAPI/Swagger specifications
- Authentication and authorization frameworks
- Backward compatibility considerations
- Strong testing and quality mindset, including:
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- Regression testing
- Preventing breaking changes during releases
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and release governance processes.
- Understanding of software development practices within regulated or large enterprise environments.
- Experience with:
- LDA and Active Directory integration
- Token-based authentication
- Role-based access control and entitlement models
- Secure credential and secret management
- Familiarity with feature-flag-driven development and controlled production rollouts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications
- Experience with backend technologies such as:
- Java
- .NET
- Python
- SQL
- Other server-side development frameworks
- Understanding of contact center technologies and concepts, including:
- Contact routing
- Digital channels
- IVR platforms
- Agent experience solutions
- Workforce management integrations
- Experience with SDKs, XML, SCXML/VXML, or platform-specific integration frameworks.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale customer engagement or contact center applications.
