Front End Specialist
Night Shift Crews
Ensure power press machinery (Cuppers, Body Makers, Trimmers, Balers, and Conveyance Mats) is properly maintained and running at peak efficiency within quality specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all Front End machinery
- Greasing the specified grease points
- Alignment of the machines
- Replace worn/damage tooling
- Maintain records of tooling usage per machine
- Rebuild/Repair equipment
- Identify leaks in the system
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings (DWGs)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment
- Work within tolerances
- Help train other employees on how to troubleshoot
- Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role.
- Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar)
- Experience in a Manufacturing facility is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge of US measurement
- Trouble shoot machinery when out of specification
- Experience with calipers, dial indicators, feeler gauges, and depth micrometers
- General tool knowledge and capable of using torque wrenches to specified specification
- Problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with high attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Must be able to operate a forklift
