What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coordinate, and support daily front-end production activities to meet safety, quality, and production objectives.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and training to Control Process Operators and other Front End employees.
  • Assist with assigning work and coordinating production priorities with supervisors and other departments.
  • Support the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of Front End equipment, including cut tables, drill presses, break presses, HAAS machines, quick mills, and other production equipment.
  • Monitor production flow and ensure materials are processed according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Verify product quality through inspections and dimensional checks while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensure operators complete equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
  • Aid in identifying and implementing process improvements that increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional communication between Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams.
  • Maintain accurate production records and required documentation.
  • Lead by example through consistent attendance, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support plant operations requirements.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or heavy industrial experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership, lead, or demonstrated team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience operating front-end production equipment, including plasma tables, drill presses, break presses, saws, or similar equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and dimensional specifications.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and OSHA standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and support multiple production activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders and catwalks as required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Pay range $30.00 to $35.00/hour – Commensurate with Experience
