About the role
The E-EFMP Front-End Developer at DecisionPoint will design, develop, and maintain user interfaces for enterprise applications within a large federal and Department of Defense-aligned environment. This role requires translating UX wireframes, prototypes, and design system elements into responsive, accessible, and user-centered web pages and components. The successful candidate will collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure seamless integration, optimal performance, and adherence to accessibility standards such as Section 508 and WCAG. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to impactful government missions through innovative front-end solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible web pages, templates, and UI components using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
- Implement interactive elements, animations, and client-side logic to support user workflows
- Translate UX wireframes, prototypes, and design system elements into production-ready code
- Ensure all UI elements and user experiences meet Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards
- Support the development and maintenance of component libraries, ensuring consistent design patterns across applications
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content seamlessly
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive UI issues
- Optimize front-end performance, including page load times and rendering behavior
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement, and reviews
- Document UI components, coding standards, and front-end implementation guidelines for team reference
Requirements
- Must hold an active Secret clearance supported by a Tier 3 background investigation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in front-end development
- Experience building enterprise user interfaces, templates, and components
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience supporting Agile development teams and methodologies
- Knowledge of UI accessibility standards and compliance with WCAG and Section 508
- Ability to consume APIs and render dynamic content effectively
