Front End Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Front-End Developer to support the sustainment and modernization of the Reporting Tool Suite, a collaboration platform serving as a centralized repository for both formal and informal finished products.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the existing geospatial application for Section 508 compliance and modernize the user experience
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, systems engineers, and government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused capabilities that improve analyst workflows

Requirements

• Java 8+
• Maintaining and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
• GWT, Primefaces, Quarkus
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Experience with screen readers
• 508/WAI-ARIA knowledge
• Oracle
• AWS
• Agency reporting and dissemination tools
• Agency classification policies
• Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence
