Front End Developer

About the role

This position involves developing AI-powered chatbots from scratch using AI, ML, and NLP technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with user interface designers and backend application integration teams to ensure the chatbot meets user needs and integrates seamlessly with other systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI conversations with responses coming from outside APIs via cloud functions or system integrations.
• Collaborate with user interface designers and backend application integration teams to understand the mechanisms through which the conversational AI solution will be used and what is needed to fulfill intents.
• Work with teams and other developers to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain chatbot applications.
• Leverage AI, NLP technologies, and cognitive machine learning to develop chatbot applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years professional development experience.
• 1+ years’ experience building AI powered chatbots from scratch using AI, ML and NLP technologies.
• Must have knowledge of IBM Watson and other chatbot development platforms.
• In depth knowledge of conversational designs, flow, and automated speech recognition, including SSML tagging for TTS.
• Experience in CICD, Git, unit-testing, and source code management.
• Knowledge of cloud development and deployment principles.
• Understanding of end-to-end software development processes and business requirements.
