Front Desk Weekend/Evening Concierge

About the role

This position is for a Full-Time Front Desk Weekend/Evening Concierge at Del Webb Bayview in Parrish, FL. The role supports a fast-paced hospitality environment within a global leader in golf and community management.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the resort’s facilities and area attractions.
• Serves as a local information source for guests.
• Provides information about special events within the resort and surrounding area.
• Maintains brochure racks in a clean, well-organized manner.
• Answers all incoming calls to the guest service desk.
• Assists guests with dining reservations, ordering flowers, wine, or gift baskets, coordinating car and limousine service, making or changing airline reservations, providing directions, and other special arrangements.
• Addresses guest questions and concerns, makes suggestions, and identifies solutions.
• Follows safe work practices.
• Ensures regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

• Frequently sits, talks, and hears.
• Occasionally stands and walks.
• Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands.
• Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Environment/Noise

• Moderate noise level.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with guests and coworkers and understand equipment manuals.
• Ability to use the internet.
