Front Desk Supervisor | Hershey Hampton Inn

About the Role

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. This position supervises all aspects of the Front Desk functions in accordance with hotel standards and implements a strong service and management philosophy to guide staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures.
• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
• Present guest folios and process payments while adhering to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures.
• Direct, implement, and maintain a service and management philosophy for Front Desk staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
