About the role

We're seeking a Full-Time Seasonal Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at the iconic Bar Harbor Inn and Spa. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in guest-focused environments and enjoys leading a team in delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk operations, ensuring smooth and efficient guest service.
  • Lead, mentor, and support front desk staff to achieve their best.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing support for hotel systems and procedures.
  • Manage room assignments, guest check-ins/check-outs, and special requests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless operations.
  • Assist the Front Office Manager with scheduling, performance evaluations, and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized front desk area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with front desk software (training provided).
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and a passion for guest service excellence.
  • Previous hospitality or front desk experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record in team leadership is a plus.

Pay

The starting wage is $22 per hour.

Schedule

This seasonal, full-time position runs from spring through fall. The schedule typically includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
