Responsibilities
- Serve as the front-of-house liaison to facilitate an exceptional guest experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests checking into the resort and for all folio transactions and check-out processes
- Run, review, and print reports to complete daily assignments
- Support the Marketing Face-to-Face team during check-in by providing additional time and attention to owners or guests requiring more information or assistance with room assignment concerns
- Assume a position of technical and service expert for business center and resort Wi-Fi access to ensure great first and last impressions
- Handle folio posting, cash handling, and key control
- Assist guests with various questions and concerns
- Facilitate the overall guest experience from check-in through check-out, including handling complex technical tasks such as room changes, inventory moves, and folio adjustments
- Create and issue keys while ensuring the safety and security of all owners and guests
- Communicate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Custodian to expedite cleaning, repairs, and other requests
- Ensure each interaction exceeds the expectations of owners and guests
- Answer all guest inquiries; if unable to respond as an expert, identify appropriate resort personnel to assist
- Clarify needs and react accordingly, recognizing and initiating solutions to owner/guest concerns with a sense of urgency and to their satisfaction
- Maintain and be responsible for a house bank, perform end-of-day reporting of receipts, and cash owner/guest checks
- Calculate visit costs, verify customers’ credit, and establish payment methods for accommodations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a resort/hotel
- Bilingual is a plus
Qualifications
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to acquire a clear understanding of timeshare software applications
- Basic knowledge of hardware and peripheral devices
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and leaders
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of seeing a task through to completion
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in the English language
- Professional business appearance and upbeat, pleasant personality
