As a Front Desk Specialist, you'll play a vital role in shaping each patient's experience. Your professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail help ensure patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for from check-in to check-out. Work alongside experienced physicians, clinical professionals, and administrative staff who value teamwork, respect, and a shared commitment to excellence in a modern healthcare environment with state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy
- Check patients in and out while ensuring a seamless visit experience
- Verify and update demographic, insurance, and registration information
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, balances, and other patient payments
- Explain financial responsibilities clearly and professionally
- Assist with medical collections and follow-up on outstanding patient accounts
- Coordinate with Billing, Insurance, and Financial Counseling teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and support daily front office operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
