About the role
Konami Gaming is seeking a Temporary Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time position within the company.
Responsibilities
- Transferring, screening, and forwarding all calls timely and efficiently
- Providing information, taking messages
- Greeting customers, vendors, and employees in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Determining the nature and purpose of visits and directing, escorting, or arranging for staff escorts to destinations
- Logging and tracking all incoming visitors and applicants (including vendors and cleaning crews)
- Monitoring visitor access and issuing badges when required
- Transmitting information to internal and external customers using computer, mail, or facsimile
- Collections, sorting, distributing, and preparing mail, messages, packages, or courier deliveries for all Konami offices
- Updating contact lists to ensure efficient front office operations
- Setting up vendors as instructed by HR Management
- Planning and logistics for events as instructed by HR Management, including new hire orientation, leadership training, and employee meetings
- Preparing and distributing employee communications including HR Bulletins and organizational charts
- Aiding the HR department in updating various HR systems and databases to support new hires onboarding and training, such as updating the LMS (learning management system)
- Supporting community involvement initiatives and wellness activities as instructed by HR management
- Compiling and preparing reports and documentation related to HR needs using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel or other software as required
- Assisting with filing documents as needed
- Providing back-up administrative support to the HR department in all functional areas
- Reporting any discrepancies, changes, recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to management
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate Degree preferred
- 1+ years of related administrative experience in a professional office environment required
- Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbally and written with all levels of the business
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain Gaming licensure(s)
