Front Desk Receptionist
Greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Company. Conduct all business in accordance with Company policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism in all internal and external dealings.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff; take messages and schedule appointments as needed.
- Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries; deliver or distribute items.
- Perform administrative and clerical support tasks, including basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Maintain poise and focus under time constraints and adverse conditions.
- Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company.
- Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background checks.
- Schedule, package, and ship items through FedEx.
- Order, receive, and distribute uniforms.
- Scan job books.
- Set up breakrooms daily.
- Maintain stock for conference rooms and clean up after meetings.
- Maintain all printers—paper, toner, and stock.
- Assist Office Manager with PNC receipts and other tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the petrochemical/refinery industry.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the Receptionist is occasionally required to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and lift up to 20 pounds.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
