Patient Reception and Customer Service

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, students, and faculty in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth clinic flow.
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments and general clinic information.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Facilitate efficient patient scheduling and appointment coordination.
  • Support patient satisfaction through professional communication and service.

Insurance and Administrative Support

  • Perform insurance verification for patient appointments, including eligibility and coverage.
  • Provide support with patient billing processes, including collecting payments and addressing billing inquiries.
  • Work collaboratively with the billing team to ensure accurate documentation and follow-up as needed.

Operational Support

  • Aid in maintaining an organized and efficient front desk environment.
  • Support clinic operations and patient flow in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume dental office.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with dental insurance verification and related processes.
  • Associate's degree preferred.

Starting Pay Rate Range

$16.92 – $19.74, commensurate with experience.
